• This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to provide an advanced first aid response to a casualty in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other Australian national peak clinical bodies.

• The unit applies to all persons who may be required to provide an advanced first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.

Course Duration – Online and face to face // pre-course workbook online self paced and 6-8 hours face to face

Certificate Valid Duration – HLTAID011 3 years and HLTAID009 12 months

Prerequisites – Nil (in the class learners need to be able to complete 2 minutes / 5 cycles of CPR)

-         The ability to successfully complete online learning is the learner’s obligation prior to the face-to-face session.

Certificates of Attainment Achieved – HLTAID014 (includes HLTAID009, HLTAID010, HLTAID011 & HLTAID014)
